In Larnaca, electricity has been cut off due to bad weather
On Wednesday, power outages occurred in Larnaca. According to the spokesperson for the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC), Christina Papadopoulou, the restrictions are due to inclement weather.
Areas affected by the power outage include Aradippou, Kamares, Ayios Nikolaos, Ormidia, and the industrial zone of Dromolaxia.
The EAC stated that two teams of power workers are actively working on restoring the power supply. The most significant damage has been identified in the Kamares area. Efforts to locate damaged sections in the Ormidia region are still ongoing.
Residents and business owners have been assured that electricity "will be fully restored within an hour or two."
