Easter bonfire spreads to utility pole in Limassol
The fire service had to work extensively on Holy Saturday night as traditional Easter bonfires were lit in various areas across Cyprus.
In Limassol, in the Mesa Geitonia area, one such bonfire grew out of control. The flames flared up and spread to a nearby utility pole.
Firefighters managed to bring the situation under control and prevent the fire from spreading further. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
