22-year-old woman and her passenger arrested in Limassol following knife attack
Limassol police have arrested a 22-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man as part of an investigation into knife possession and causing bodily harm.
The incident occurred on March 27 around 17:30. According to police, a 68-year-old man was in his parked car when a verbal altercation broke out between him and a woman driving another vehicle.
During the conflict, the passenger of the car exited and allegedly attacked the man with a knife, stabbing him.
The victim was taken to Limassol Hospital, where he was diagnosed with a laceration to the abdominal wall. He was released after receiving medical treatment.
The 22-year-old woman was arrested under a court warrant on March 28. After being charged, she was released pending a court summons.
The 56-year-old passenger was arrested separately and remains in custody. He is expected to appear in court.
The investigation is being continued by the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department.
