Food Courier Beaten and Robbed Again in Limassol
Yet another attack on a food delivery courier has been reported in Limassol. This time, a group of hooded individuals beat the courier and stole his money.
According to a statement from the police, the incident took place around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Kato Polemidia area. Two unidentified suspects stopped a 28-year-old delivery driver on his motorcycle and assaulted him with metal objects.
The attackers, wearing hoods, struck the man, causing him to fall off his bike. They then grabbed his bag containing cash and smashed his mobile phone.
The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack. The victim sustained minor injuries to his arms and knees but declined to be taken to the hospital.
Police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects.
