Driver of a stolen vehicle detained in Nicosia
Nicosia: Police have detained a 32-year-old man who was driving a vehicle reported stolen since December 19, 2025.
During a targeted operation, traffic police located the wanted car on one of the capital’s streets and stopped it for inspection. The suspect was behind the wheel and was immediately detained on suspicion of unlawful possession of another person’s property.
The man was taken in for questioning. He remains in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
