Order restored in Paphos' new industrial zone — Mayor reports results
Mayor of Paphos Angelos Onisiforou announced that order has been restored in the city's new industrial zone following a summer cleaning campaign and a recent meeting with representatives of local businesses.
According to the Mayor, the zone is in significantly better condition than in the recent past, thanks to the cleaning and restoration of order carried out by the municipal authority. Previously, the area had been neglected for years, with abandoned cars and various debris accumulating on roads and sidewalks.
The municipality has begun and continues without interruption to clean public areas and green spaces. Sidewalks have also been cleared. The Mayor noted that the volume of work is large and requires constancy and consistency.
Angelos Onisiforou emphasized the need to maintain the zone's image at a proper level and cited this as the goal of a recent meeting with delegates of craftsmen and enterprises operating in the area. He expressed gratitude to the entrepreneurs for their cooperation and understanding, without which, he said, it would be difficult to implement significant changes and comprehensive modernization of the territory.
For residents, this means an improvement in the sanitary condition and appearance of the industrial zone, as well as continued efforts to maintain order and improve public spaces.
