Traffic restrictions to be introduced in central Nicosia due to Cyprus EU presidency ceremony

Cypriot authorities announced temporary changes to traffic arrangements in central Nicosia on Wednesday. The restrictions are related to a ceremonial event marking the start of Cyprus’s presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Throughout the day, road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect in the central areas of the city. Police advise drivers to plan their routes in advance, avoid the city center if possible, and follow the instructions of traffic services.
