Cypriot Man Killed in London Pub Brawl
A Cypriot citizen was killed in a violent brawl outside a pub in London. The suspect has already been arrested.
According to British media, the incident took place on the evening of March 1, when police received reports of a man who had been seriously injured in an attack near The Watch House pub in Lewisham, southeast London.
Officers arrived at the scene and found 63-year-old Charalambos (Charlie) Prodromou critically wounded. He was rushed to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save him—he succumbed to his injuries.
Local reports state that on March 3, British police arrested 43-year-old Paul Talland from Eltham on suspicion of murder. Preliminary findings suggest that Talland fatally stabbed the victim during a personal dispute. He was taken into custody near the crime scene.
The suspect has already appeared before Bromley Magistrates’ Court on murder charges and will remain in custody until Wednesday.
