5th Kyrenia Half Marathon to Take Place on September 22
The 5th annual Kyrenia Half Marathon will be held on September 22, 2024. The races will take place from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
According to the event organizers, the Pasha Group Kyrenia Half Marathon will be hosted in Kyrenia, featuring nine age categories across three distances, on courses approved by World Athletics and AIMS.
The race categories are as follows: 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60+. The distances will include a 21 km half marathon, a 10 km race, and a 3 km race.
Online registration for the 10 km and 21 km races will be open until September 20. Race kits and numbers can be picked up on September 21 at the Kyrenia Municipality building. The registration fee is 500 TL for the 10 km race and 750 TL for the 21 km race.
On-site registration for the 3 km race will be available. The registration fee for this race is 150 TL.
A press conference is expected to be held on Tuesday, August 27, where organizers will provide more details about this year's event.
