TRNC Pharmacies Adjust Their Operating Hours

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) has updated the operating hours for pharmacies. The new schedule will be in effect from September 16, 2024, through September 21, 2025.

This update was published in the “Official Gazette” and marks a significant change in pharmacy hours for the upcoming year.

New Pharmacy Hours by Region

Nicosia, Famagusta, Kyrenia, and Gönyeli:

From September 16, 2024, to May 11, 2025, pharmacies will be open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:30 and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:30.

From May 12 to September 21, 2025, pharmacies will operate Monday to Wednesday, and Friday from 08:00 to 17:30. On Thursdays and Saturdays, they will be open from 08:00 to 13:30.

Emergency pharmacies will remain open from closing time until 08:00 the next morning, and on Saturdays from 13:30 until 08:00 on Mondays.

From September 16, 2024, to September 21, 2025, emergency pharmacies will be open from 08:00 to midnight.

Lefke:

From September 16, 2024, to May 11, 2025, pharmacies in Lefke will be open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:30 and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:30.

During this period, emergency pharmacies will be open from 08:00 to 22:00 and will provide on-call services from 22:00 to midnight.

From May 12 to September 21, 2025, pharmacies will operate Monday to Wednesday, and Friday from 08:00 to 17:30, and on Thursdays and Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:30.

Emergency pharmacies will be open from 08:00 to 22:00 and will offer on-call services from 22:00 to midnight.

İskele:

From September 16, 2024, to May 11, 2025, pharmacies in İskele will be open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:30 and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:30. Emergency pharmacies will operate from 08:00 to 22:00.

From May 12 to September 21, 2025, local pharmacies will be open Monday to Wednesday, and Friday from 08:00 to 17:30, and on Thursdays and Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:30. Emergency pharmacies will be open from 08:00 to 22:00.

Mesarya:

From September 16, 2024, to May 11, 2025, pharmacies in the Mesarya region will be open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 19:00 and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:30. Emergency pharmacies will operate from 08:00 to 19:00.

From May 12 to September 21, 2025, pharmacies will be open Monday to Wednesday, and Friday from 08:00 to 19:00, and on Thursdays and Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:30. Emergency pharmacies will remain open from 08:00 to 19:00.

Karpas:

From September 16, 2024, to September 21, 2025, pharmacies in the Karpas region will be open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:30 and on Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:30. Emergency pharmacies will operate from 08:00 to 20:00.
