Drone ban extended in Ercan Airport area
Authorities have extended the ban on the use of drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles in the area of Ercan Airport and adjacent settlements. The restriction was introduced to ensure flight safety.
According to a statement by the head of the district administration, Fadıl Keleş, the ban continues to be in effect in the areas of Akıncılar, Erdemli, Kırklar, Gaziköy, Gaziler, Paşaköy, Yiğitler, Kırıkkale, Meriç, Dilekkaya, and Balıkesir, as well as adjacent territories.
It is noted that the restrictions will remain in place for another month until a new order is issued.
Authorities emphasized that all individuals and legal entities are obliged to strictly comply with the ban. In case of violations, measures will be taken in accordance with current legislation.
