Turkey: minivan without handbrake crashes into bedroom — children were nearby

In the Avcılar (Yeşilkent) district of Istanbul, a minivan parked on a slope rolled down and crashed into a house. According to Turkish media, the driver left the vehicle with a malfunction at the top of the street and did not engage the handbrake — on the descent, the minivan accelerated and broke through the bedroom wall.
As a result of the impact, part of the vehicle ended up near the window, and bricks and concrete fell into the room — debris landed near the bunk bed where two children were. No injuries have been reported.
