Engineers and Architects from the TRNC and Cyprus Visit Famagusta Together
The Chamber of Engineers and Architects of Turkish Cypriots (KTMMOB) and the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Commerce (ETEK) recently organized a joint technical tour in Famagusta.
The tour was conducted under the auspices of the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the bi-communal Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage. During the visit, participants had the opportunity to explore several sites, some of which have completed conservation or restoration efforts, while others are still ongoing.
The group visited notable historical landmarks, including Agia Paraskevi, the Latin Church of St. George, the Martinenko Bastion, and the Ravelin Gate. Experts from the UNDP provided detailed insights into the significance and history of these sites.
