KIB-TEK warns of power outages in several areas
The energy company KIB-TEK has announced possible power outages today from 10:00 to 12:00 due to maintenance work on a medium voltage line. The outages will affect several settlements and coastal areas.
According to the company's statement, interruptions are expected in the Kanizi Petrol area and near the Geçitkale village mosque, as well as in Yamaçköy, Mallıdağ, Çınarlı, and at several telecommunications base stations. The work will also affect the Tatlısu–Geçitkale junction, the center of Tatlısu village, local water pumps, and the Tatlısu beach area.
In addition, temporary outages are possible in the areas of Kıbrıs İnşaat and Emtan İnşaat construction sites and the Sweet Waterbay plots. The list also includes a coastal gas station, an old poultry farm, coastal greenhouses, and the villages of Altınova and Ağıllar.
During the work, the areas between the Mallıdağ junction and Küçük Erenköy, Küçük Erenköy itself, Bahçeli beach, and the center of Bahçeli village may also remain without power. KIB-TEK has urged residents to be understanding of the temporary inconvenience and to take precautions when using electrical appliances once power is restored.
