Meteorologists in the TRNC warn of heavy rain and thunderstorms this weekend

The Meteorological Department of Northern Cyprus has issued an urgent warning for the coming days. According to the updated forecast, starting Saturday, May 30, the region will come under the influence of a low-pressure system and cool, humid air. On Saturday and Sunday, partly cloudy skies are expected across the entire TRNC, turning into heavy rain showers and thunderstorms. Meteorologists are urging citizens to be careful on the roads due to the possible deterioration of visibility and localized flooding. Unstable weather with precipitation will also continue into the beginning of next week.
