In Northern Cyprus, Turkish coffee has become more expensive
Following the increase in the minimum wage in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), prices for essential products and consumer goods continue to rise. After meat and milk, prices for Turkish coffee in the country have increased.
According to Kibris Postasi, the price of a pack of Turkish coffee in stores has increased by 10 Turkish lira, from 35 TL to 45 TL.
Recall that the new minimum wage in Northern Cyprus was set last week. According to the document published in the "Official Gazette," the new minimum wage of 24,000 Turkish lira applies from January 1.
After the increase in the minimum wage in Northern Cyprus, prices for products, particularly meat, milk, and the famous simit bagels, have started to rise. Additionally, fines for traffic violations have also increased in the country.
