Traffic restrictions on the Kaplıca–Kantara section due to a cycling race

The Turkish Cypriot Cycling Federation announced a race on the Kaplıca–Kantara ascent. As a result, this section of the road will be temporarily closed to traffic.
According to the police, restrictions will take effect on Sunday, November 16, from 07:30 to 11:00. During this time, traffic will be blocked, with controlled passage provided.
The race will start in the village of Kaplıca. Cyclists will follow the Kaplıca–Kantara route and finish at Kantara Square.
The police ask drivers who plan to use this road section during the indicated time to exercise caution: reduce speed, stay alert, and follow traffic signs and police instructions, as the safety of both race participants and motorists is at stake.
