Operation Game Over: Major Drug Seizure in the TRNC
In Northern Cyprus, a significant drug seizure took place during Operation "Game Over." One individual has been arrested.
According to the police press office, the operation was conducted in Kyrenia by the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Unit.
On Monday, around 1:00 PM, police detained a 25-year-old man. During the search, officers found 800 grams of a substance believed to be marijuana, 43 tablets suspected to contain MDMA, two sensitive scales, and cash totaling 7,600 Turkish lira, 230 British pounds, 300 dollars, and 20 euros. The police suspect that the money was obtained from drug sales.
The suspect has been detained, and the investigation is ongoing.
