The first week of September in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus kicks off with showers and thunderstorms
According to the TRNC Department of Meteorology, on Monday, September 2nd, the region is experiencing low pressure and cool, moist air in the upper atmosphere. Meteorologists forecast cloudy weather with showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Temperatures will remain within the climate norms, ranging from 28°C to 35°C across most parts of the country. In Alevkaya and Lapta, temperatures will drop below 30°C.
Strong winds from the southwest are expected, but no storms are predicted for today.
Two weather warnings remain in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires is still high, and ultraviolet radiation levels are elevated.
It's advisable not to stay in the sun for more than 15 minutes, especially between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., without taking necessary precautions.

- Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 32°C, İskele – 33°C
- Karpas Peninsula: Yenierenköy – 32°C
