Northern Cyprus to present its products at the international Gulfood exhibition in Dubai

The Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry (Kıbrıs Türk Sanayi Odası, KTSO) will take part in one of the world’s largest food exhibitions, Gulfood, which will be held from January 26 to 30 in Dubai.
This year, Northern Cyprus will be represented by a unified national stand under the North Cyprus brand, featuring 7 local companies. The total stand area will be 120 square meters. The exhibition will be located in South Hall No. 7 of the new Dubai Exhibition Center (Expo City).
The stand will showcase key export products of the TRNC food industry:
— dairy products and halloumi,
— olives and olive oil,
— frozen bakery products,
— citrus fruits and processed fruits.
During the exhibition, the products will not only be displayed but also offered for tasting to international buyers and representatives of retail chains.
The following companies will participate in the exhibition:
Devay Veteriner Danışmanlık (Aydın Zeytinyağları), Arden Gıda, Maysa Gıda, Gülgün Süt Mamülleri, Onan S.Ü. Foods (frozen products), Akgöl Sütçülük Gıda ve Paketleme and Kıbrıs Meyve Sebze İşletmecilik (Cypfruvex).
In addition to product presentations, business meetings with international purchasing delegations are planned within the framework of Gulfood. Representatives of KTSO and the TRNC Department of Industry will also hold a number of official meetings with diplomatic missions of Turkey and the TRNC in the UAE.
Participation in Gulfood is seen as an important step toward expanding Northern Cyprus’s export opportunities and promoting local products in the markets of the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
