Northern Cyprus strengthens its eco-friendly fleet: the municipality receives 23 new electric vehicles

The Minister of Interior of Northern Cyprus, Ozersay Amjooglu, announced the expansion of the municipal vehicle fleet with 23 new environmentally friendly vehicles.
According to the ministry, the new cars will be used to serve municipal needs, improve local services, and increase energy efficiency. Special emphasis is placed on reducing emissions and lowering operating costs through the use of electric and low-emission vehicles.
Amjooglu noted that the transition to eco-friendly transport is an important part of the “green governance” strategy and the modernization of municipal services. He added that work on expanding the fleet will continue in order to make city services more modern and environmentally friendly.
