The Statistical Office will begin updating addresses in Alayköy on December 1

The Statistical Office has announced the start of address update works in Alayköy in Northern Cyprus on December 1, 2025, as part of preparations for the Household Budget Survey.

The work will be carried out within the boundaries of the municipality with the support of the Gönyeli–Alayköy Municipality. This is a preparatory stage for the Household Budget Survey.

The head of the Statistical Office, Sövyüda Besimler, stated that updating the addresses will ensure the collection of critically important data for analysing needs and planning future activities.

According to her, the successful implementation of the work depends on the cooperation of residents; she called on the public to devote time to the interviewers and assist them during the survey.
