Rehearsal for the TRNC Republic Day Parade to Take Place in Famagusta: Road Closure Schedule
On Sunday, November 3, Famagusta will host a rehearsal for the parade celebrating the 41st anniversary of the TRNC. During this time, Fazıl Küçük Boulevard will be temporarily closed to traffic.
According to a statement from the police press office, the road between the Gönye Roundabout and the traffic light intersection near Honda will be closed from 07:00 until the rehearsal concludes.
Drivers can use alternative routes to bypass the closed section.
Motorists are advised to drive slowly and cautiously, avoid parking their vehicles on the affected road, and pay close attention to road signs and markings.
The TRNC Republic Day is a national holiday celebrated in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus every year on November 15, commemorating the declaration of independence in 1983. This year, the country proudly celebrates its 40th anniversary.
