Seafood shops and restaurants inspected in Kyrenia
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, together with the Livestock Department and the Kyrenia Municipality Health Department, conducted inspections of five retail and catering establishments.
Inspectors assessed compliance with food hygiene standards, staff personal hygiene, and seafood storage conditions. Hygiene violations and deficiencies were identified in several establishments; owners were issued warnings and given a deadline to rectify the non-compliances in accordance with the law.
The Ministry emphasized that inspections will continue on a regular basis to protect public health.
