A Cultural Event “Stitches from the Roots” with a Traditional Fashion Show Held in Lapta

The Lapta Culture and Solidarity Association organized a cultural event titled “Stitches from the Roots” (Köklerden İlmekler), aimed at promoting the traditional crafts, clothing and cultural values of the region. The evening program included a thematic lecture, a special fashion show and a musical performance.

As part of the event, a display of traditional clothing decorated with handmade items, prepared by Zişan Damdelen, took place. The fashion presentation featured creative groups from Lapta, Balykesir, Tashkent and Hisarköy. The show received high praise and positive feedback from the audience.

The musical part of the program was presented by the “Lapta Breezes” choir (Lapta Esintileri) under the direction of conductor Bahar Gökhan. The ensemble performed a variety of musical pieces and was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience. At the end of the evening, the organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event.
