In Kuzucuk, a man stabbed an acquaintance in the back: police are investigating an attempted murder

In the village of Kuzudzhuk, a 49-year-old man, R.E., was detained on suspicion of attempted murder. According to the police, on the evening of December 7 at around 20:50, while intoxicated, he had an argument with 37-year-old Arsen Aymuradov on the grounds of a dirt warehouse belonging to one of the companies.
It is believed that R.E. accused Aymuradov of “gossip” and, carrying an illegally possessed knife, stabbed him in the back with intent to kill. The victim was taken in critical condition to the Gazimağusa hospital, from where, after first aid, he was transferred to Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu Hospital in Nicosia. He is currently under observation in the cardio- and vascular surgery department.
The suspect R.E. has been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
