Two Dogs Shot Dead in Nicosia
In Nicosia, unknown perpetrators shot two dogs with a rifle. The attackers have been declared wanted. The brutal killing of the animals was reported on social media by the "Golden Paws" Association.
According to animal rights activists, the incident occurred the evening before in the Küçük Kaymaklı area. The victims of the attack were a black Pekingese and a brown Chihuahua. It was noted that both dogs were walking on leashes and appeared to belong to the same owner. Police arrived at the scene and took the deceased animals.
The person who shot the dogs has not yet been identified. Representatives of the association plan to file a joint complaint with the police in cooperation with the Animal Rights Committee and the Bar Association.
