In Turkey, the DGS (Dikey Geçiş Sınavı) is an exam that allows students who have completed a two-year associate degree program (professional or technical education) to transfer to a four-year bachelor's program at a university. The DGS is conducted by ÖSYM (Ölçme, Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi), the central body responsible for the selection and placement of students in higher education institutions in Turkey.

Students who successfully pass the DGS can continue their studies in relevant bachelor’s programs, typically starting from the third year, depending on the compatibility of previously completed courses with their chosen program.
