Sea Turtle Hatchling Release Events
On August 31, Northern Cyprus will host open-to-all events for the release of sea turtle hatchlings into the sea.
- Alagadi Turtle Paradise Restaurant & Bar - Nest excavations: 18:00 - Release into the sea: 19:00
- Akdeniz Caretta Beach - Release into the sea: 19:15
- Mersinlik Public Beach - Release into the sea: 19:30
The organizers emphasize: prior registration is not required.
Participants will be able to witness a touching moment — the first steps of the little ones toward the Mediterranean Sea.
