A young swimmer from Northern Cyprus ranked among the world’s top 15 at the Oceanman Championship in Dubai

Thirteen-year-old national swimmer Erten Can Kasimoğlu delivered an impressive performance at the Oceanman World Championship finals held in Dubai. Among participants from 95 countries, he placed 14th worldwide in the under-15 category, gaining valuable international experience and becoming a source of pride for his family and his country.
It is noted that before the start, the young athlete was very nervous, but he successfully handled the pressure and performed honorably on the world stage. His family thanked Turkey’s Consul General in Dubai, Onur Şaylan, and the TRNC representative in Abu Dhabi, Umut Koldaş, who shared with them the emotions of this achievement. Participation in a competition of this level is expected to become an important step in Kasimoğlu’s future sports career.
