Cablenet and Cybersift launch partnership: cybersecurity becomes more accessible for businesses in Cyprus
One of Cyprus's leading telecom operators, Cablenet, has announced a strategic partnership with Cybersift, an international cybersecurity company. The joint initiative will be presented to corporate clients at events in Nicosia and Limassol.
The collaboration is being implemented within the GO group and involves the integration of Cybersift solutions into Cablenet's service portfolio. This will allow Cypriot companies to receive comprehensive protection through a single provider — without complicating the processes of connection and service management.
Against the backdrop of accelerating digital transformation in Cyprus, the level of cyber threats is also rising. Company representatives note that businesses require simple, accessible, and scalable solutions that do not significantly increase costs.
Cablenet CEO Yiannos Michaelides emphasized that the partnership makes corporate cybersecurity more accessible: "Our goal is to offer practical and cost-effective protection for companies of all sizes." Cybersift, in turn, noted that Cyprus faces the same challenges as other digital economies, where growth in connectivity is accompanied by a rise in vulnerabilities.
The new solutions include 24/7 threat monitoring, automatic attack detection, vulnerability assessment, and incident support. A key element will be a single point of contact for clients, simplifying the management of both connectivity and security.
For the Cypriot market, this partnership signifies a strengthening of digital business resilience. Companies will be better able to protect data, reputation, and operational processes, which is particularly important given the growth of online activity and cyber risks.
Experts note that such initiatives contribute to the formation of a safer digital infrastructure at the national level and support the development of a technology-oriented economy.
