On January 4th in Cyprus, brief showers are expected in the mountains

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Republic of Cyprus, on Thursday, January 4th, the region continues to be affected by weak low pressure.

Today, in the first half of the day, there are expected to be temporary cloudiness and isolated showers, mainly in the west and in the mountains. The wind will blow from the southwest to the northwest, ranging from weak to moderate.

According to the meteorological forecast, during the day, the air temperature will rise to 20°C in the inland areas, up to 22°C on the coasts, and around 10°C in the mountainous regions.

By the evening, variable cloudiness is also expected, with possible isolated showers, mainly in the mountains.

The air temperature will drop to approximately 8°C in the inland areas, 13°C on the western coast, around 10°C on the rest of the coast, and 4°C in the mountainous regions.

On Friday and during the weekend, the weather will be cloudy, with occasional rain in some areas. The temperature will fluctuate at the same levels, exceeding the average climatic indicators.
