Night fire in Paphos: Cafe damaged, causes under investigation

A fire broke out in a cafe owned by a 29-year-old in Paphos overnight. The incident was recorded at around 3:20 AM.
According to the police, the fire was first noticed by local residents. They promptly arrived at the scene and managed to extinguish the fire before it spread, preventing more serious consequences.
Despite this, the fire managed to damage both the interior of the establishment and its external structures. The extent of the damage is being determined.
Police and fire service personnel arrived at the scene and conducted an initial inspection. The area around the cafe was cordoned off.
At dawn, investigative authorities began a more detailed study of the circumstances of the incident to establish the exact cause of the fire.
The investigation is being conducted by the Paphos Police Criminal Investigation Department. At this time, no version of the event has been ruled out.
