Weather interference: Limassol events cancelled and scaled back
Adverse weather conditions have led to adjustments in the Limassol events program: two events scheduled for Sunday have been postponed, while another is taking place in a reduced format.
The excursion "In the Footsteps of Lanitio," organized by the Association of Lanitio Alumni and Friends, has been cancelled. The program involved a guided walk through the educational complex with specialists. A new date will be announced later.
The "Love Without Borders – Adopt a Friend" event, which was to be held at the Limassol Municipal Garden, has also been moved. Its organizer — the municipality's animal welfare committee — aimed to raise awareness about animal protection and promote responsible adoption.
Meanwhile, the "Akrotiri Spring Festival," held with the participation of the Environmental Education Center and the Kouri Municipality, was not completely cancelled but is being held with a limited program. In particular, the scheduled bike ride will not take place, but other activities, mainly within the center, are continuing.
Organizers urge residents to follow updates and consider weather conditions when planning to participate in events.
