Waldstein Trio to perform in Nicosia on October 24

The Pharos Arts Foundation invites you to the Waldstein Trio concert, taking place on Friday, October 24, at the Shu Factory Concert Hall in Nicosia. The concert starts at 20:30.

The program includes Gabriel Fauré’s Piano Trio in D minor, Op. 120, and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Piano Trio in A minor, Op. 50. The world premiere of a new piece by Haris Kittos, "Pnoes" (2025), will also be performed.

The ensemble consists of Greta Papa (violin), Miguel Ángel Vileda (cello), and Christos Funtos (piano). The trio has performed at leading international venues, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Vienna Musikverein, and the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and has won prizes at major competitions, including the Manhattan International Competition and the Fanny Mendelssohn International Competition.
