The police announced security measures for the football match between Olympiakos Nicosia and Omonia Nicosia, which will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 17:00 at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia as part of the 13th round of the First Stage of the Cyprus League KOP Championship.

The match will be held with fans of both teams present. Stadium entrances will open to the public at 15:30. Spectators are advised to arrive in advance, at least one hour before kickoff, to avoid delays; latecomers may enter after the match has started.

Strict security checks will be conducted at the entrances by stadium staff and police. Those entering the stands must present a fan card along with a ticket and ID. Special checks will apply to children’s tickets; identification may be required if necessary.

Olympiakos fans will occupy the western stand and must park in the south parking area; western ticket offices will operate for them from 15:30. Omonia fans will occupy the north and east stands and are asked to approach the stadium via Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue and the regulated intersection with Iosif H. Iosif Avenue, then along Dimitri Vikelas Street; north parking is provided for them.

It is strictly forbidden to bring flares, firecrackers, or other dangerous items, alcoholic beverages, political or offensive banners, graffiti on stadium walls, backpacks, protective motorcycle helmets, or face-covering equipment. Climbing fences is prohibited. Violators may be removed from the stadium without the right to appeal and may face arrest and fines. Parking on the new roundabout on the Nicosia—Limassol highway, on shoulders, and adjacent roads is prohibited; violators will be prosecuted.

The police will be present in the sports area to ensure safety and manage traffic during fans’ arrival and departure. For police contact in Nicosia, the numbers 22-802020, citizen line 1460, and emergency number 112 are available.
