Driver Arrested in Nicosia After Fatal Accident Involving Teenager
In Nicosia, police have detained a 39-year-old car driver involved in a fatal traffic accident that occurred on March 19 in the Strovolos area.
The accident involved a car and a motorcycle. As a result of the collision, a 15-year-old teenager who was riding the motorcycle died.
Initially, the circumstances of the incident remained unclear. However, after additional checks and obtaining new witness statements, an arrest warrant was issued for the driver.
The man was detained in the evening. The investigation is ongoing, and the case is being handled by the Nicosia Traffic Police.
