The Russians got accustomed to the fact it is easy to come to Cyprus - the simplified visa regime attracted tourists, and one could receive it in a day. In electronic form, it allowed entering the country. Since February 2022, they have canceled pro visas. And now one can enter Cyprus:
- on a Schengen visa, while your Schengen 90 days in Cyprus do not count;
- on a visa from the Republic of Cyprus. One cannot apply for a national one at any commercial visa center but only at the Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus. You have to submit the documents in person on a first-come, first-served basis;
- on visas from Bulgaria, Croatia, or Romania. The easiest way to get a Bulgarian one is at the visa center, even without personal presence - the main thing is to hand over your passport and photographs.
