Obtaining a visa to Cyprus
A visa to Cyprus is issued at the consular section of the Cyprus embassy in your country. In Russia, this can only be done in Moscow. However, you can also submit documents online through the Pony Express service or by proxy.

Documents for a visa to Cyprus
- A valid passport with at least three months remaining after the visa expires, with at least one blank page
- Application form filled out in English and signed by the applicant (the form can be downloaded here)
- Passport-sized photo (3*4 or 3.5*4.5)
- Copy of the first page of the passport
- Copies of visas issued by the Republic of Cyprus, Schengen Agreement countries, as well as Bulgaria, Romania, and Croatia in the last three years
- Copy of the first page of the internal passport (for Russian citizens)
- Copy of the registration page (from the internal Russian passport for Russian citizens)
- Copy of the last page of the internal Russian passport with information about previously issued passports
- Certificate of employment issued no more than one month ago or other proof of financial means (bank account statement or debit card with transactions for the last three months and balance as of the date of submission, or sponsorship confirmation)
- Hotel booking confirmation with the stamp and signature of the responsible person or a copy of the voucher from an officially registered tour operator in Cyprus
- Copy of the child’s birth certificate (if they do not have their own passport)
- Notarized consent for the trip from one or both parents if the child is traveling without them
- Travel medical insurance policy with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros

Other types of visas for entering Cyprus
If you have a Schengen visa, you can enter Cyprus with it. However, it must be a multiple-entry visa and already "used", meaning you must have entered the Schengen area at least once with it.
You can also visit Cyprus with one of the national visas of EU countries.
