Electricity rates in Northern Cyprus are regulated by the state company Kib-Tek — the sole electricity supplier in the TRNC. 0–250 kWh 4.8044 TL
251–500 kWh 9.9115 TL
501–750 kWh 10.6573 TL
751–1000 kWh 11.5519 TL
1000+ kWh 13.8069 TL

Tip: Northern Cyprus uses a progressive payment scale: the more energy you consume, the higher the rate. To save, turn off appliances completely, do not leave them on standby, and use A++ energy-efficient air conditioners.
