Atasun Optik opens its first store in Northern Cyprus

The Turkish optical chain Atasun Optik has officially entered the Northern Cyprus market, opening its first store in Lefkoşa. The new salon started operations on Gazeteci Hasan Tahsin Street.
The company, represented by over 350 stores in 71 provinces of Turkey, continues its international expansion. The opening of the Lefkoşa branch marks the brand’s first step outside Turkey, bringing the total number of Atasun Optik stores to 354.
At the new store, residents of Northern Cyprus can find a wide range of glasses, frames, and lenses, as well as services focused on eye care and aesthetics. The company emphasizes that customer service and product accessibility will be a priority.
Atasun Optik CEO Evren Kutlu described the Lefkoşa store opening as an important milestone in the brand’s growth strategy:
“We are bringing our many years of experience in optical retail beyond Turkey. The first store in Cyprus is not only a new location but also the beginning of the brand’s international development. We are excited to fulfill our mission — ‘seeing well and looking good should be accessible to everyone’ — now here as well.”
The company stressed that entering the Northern Cyprus market is considered a long-term project aimed at brand expansion and building trust with new customers.
