The Dikmen - Tashkent Road Closed Until Nearly the End of the Week
Starting today, the road between the towns of Dikmen and Tashkent in Northern Cyprus is closed to traffic. The restriction will be in place from today until July 13th.
According to the TRNC Department of Highways, the closure is due to road resurfacing. Traffic will be redirected via alternative routes: Dikmen — Nicosia and Tashkent — Nicosia.
Drivers using this route are advised to plan their journeys in advance, observe speed limits, road signs, and directions.
Earlier, it was reported that a road in Nicosia would be closed for nearly a month, from the Metehan roundabout to Ortakoy, until July 25th.
