On March 29th, warm cloudy weather persists in Northern Cyprus

According to the Department of Meteorology of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), on Friday, March 29th, the region will be affected by low pressure and warm moist air. Northern Cyprus will experience cloudy weather without precipitation, with dust in the air and high temperatures.

Air temperatures today will rise 4-6 degrees above the seasonal climatic norm. The maximum temperature in some areas will reach 25-26°C.

The wind will be northeast, of moderate strength. No storms are expected in the region today.

One meteorological warning continues to apply in the region: dust from North Africa, which entered the TRNC, will persist in the air until the end of March.

Northern Coast: Kyrenia – 20°C, Lapta – 18°C, Akdeniz - 22°C, Alevkaya - 21°C, Esentepe - 19°C.

Western Coast: Lefke – 25°C, Güzelyurt – 26°C.

Central Part: Nicosia – 25°C, Ercan – 24°C.

Eastern Coast: Famagusta – 22°C, Iskele – 23°C.

Karpas: Yenierenkoy – 20°C.
