In Northern Cyprus, a lottery with a prize of three million Turkish lira was drawn
A significant cash prize was awarded in a lottery in Northern Cyprus, with the jackpot reaching three million Turkish lira this time.
The draw for the state lottery on May 30, 2024, organized by the Lottery Department of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, took place yesterday evening. The three-million Turkish lira jackpot was won by ticket number "64197."
The fortunate ticket was sold by a dealer from Nicosia in Altan Pasha. However, the identity of the winner of the substantial cash prize remains unspecified.
In the upcoming lottery drawing scheduled for June 27, 2024, the maximum prize will be reduced to 1.5 million Turkish lira.
New lottery tickets were specially designed to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Turkish Maarif College.
The tickets, now available for purchase, are priced at 150 Turkish lira.
