Second Batch of Imported Meat Arrives in Northern Cyprus: Where to Buy It
The second batch of frozen imported meat has arrived for sale in Northern Cyprus. The Soil Products Institution (TÜK) has published a list of butcher shops where it can be purchased.
According to the institution’s statement, frozen imported lamb is being sold at 375 Turkish lira per kilogram in 47 butcher shops and markets across various regions of the country.
The sale of imported frozen lamb from the Netherlands began in the TRNC last week. The meat was inspected before sales commenced. The first batch arrived on June 10 and was distributed to 46 outlets. A total of 21 tons of meat were sold out in just a few days.
