President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Receives Director-General of the EU External Action Service
The president of the TRNC Ersin Tatar met with Angelina Aichhorst, the Director-General of the European Union External Action Service.
According to the press office of the TRNC leader, the meeting was also attended by Güneş Onar, the Special Representative of the President.
During the discussions, they evaluated recent developments in bilateral relations between the EU and Cyprus.
Last week, Maria Angela Holguín Cuellar, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Cyprus, concluded another round of negotiations on the island. The Colombian diplomat held meetings with leaders from both communities and stressed the importance of heeding the people's voices.
