Dust from North Africa will continue to affect air quality

The Meteorological Service of Northern Cyprus announced that dust carried by air masses from North Africa will remain in the atmosphere until midnight next Tuesday.
According to the announcement issued on November 7, dust particles will begin entering the region actively from 12:00 noon on Friday and will continue to affect air quality in the following days.
It is noted that since the beginning of the week, the island has already been experiencing elevated air pollution levels associated with dust aerosols.
The Meteorological Service advised citizens with increased sensitivity to dust to exercise caution.
