How to become a volunteer
In Turkey, volunteers are currently in high demand, but the authorities of the Republic of Turkey cannot always organize the gathering of people and send them on free planes to help the affected. They have to transport and bring the relatives of the deceased, and ferry humanitarian aid. The burden on official organizations is significant.
If you are willing to make your way to Turkey and want to join the volunteers, please contact the Turkish AFAD. This organization is directly involved in the tragedy and the organization of aid.
If you want to assist within the TRNC territory, you can simply come to the humanitarian aid reception centers and help sort the items. The addresses of the centers are:
