You can, but it requires some preparation. One can’t just put an animal in a car and transport it to the south. The fact is that Turkey and Northern Cyprus for the EU are in the red zone for rabies. It means that your animal needs to pass a rabies titer test three months before you transport it. But if you bring your pet just like that, they can send you back at the border or let you through, but take a fine of 300 € and put your pet in a six-month quarantine.
