Arson at Limassol Car Dealership: Police Search for Suspects
Police and the fire service are continuing their investigation into a fire that occurred at a car dealership in the Germasogeia area of Limassol. The area around the scene remains cordoned off.
According to preliminary data, this is a case of intentional arson. Investigators have determined that the fire was caused by the use of a flammable substance.
The fire broke out around 04:00 AM. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, but two cars parked outside the building were completely destroyed.
In addition, six more cars inside the showroom are being inspected for damage.
The dealership is owned by two men aged 33 and 22.
Police are searching for possible arsonists. It is noted that this is not the first case of arson involving vehicles at Limassol dealerships.
The investigation is ongoing.
